Meet Your Provider

Sevenise P. Cherelus, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Committed to Holistic Mental Wellness

Hello and welcome! I’m Sevenise P. Cherelus, a doctoral-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I’m passionate about helping individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered on their mental health journey.

With over 8 years of nursing experience, I have worked across a variety of settings including critical care, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, and substance use treatment. These experiences allow me to care for the whole person—not just symptoms—using thoughtful, evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs.

I earned my Master’s degree in Nursing from West Coast University and am licensed to practice in Florida, New York, Georgia, Maine, and Iowa. My clinical expertise includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and the integration of therapy and lifestyle-based strategies. I commonly work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and other complex mental health concerns.

At the core of my practice is a belief that healing happens through connection and collaboration. Mental health care should feel like a partnership—one where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free space where we can work together toward meaningful and lasting change.

I also collaborate closely with therapists, primary care providers, and community resources to ensure your care is well-coordinated and holistic. Your mental well-being is my priority, and I am committed to supporting you at every stage of your journey.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward a healthier, more balanced life, I would be honored to work with you. You don’t have to do this alone—let’s move forward together.
